Heat Resistant Rubber Tubes
are produced from pure, expanded flexible High Temperature Rubber and do not contain any other fibers or filler materials.

Because of their specific structure expanded graphite sheets are particularly suited for applications with extremely high or low temperatures, with highly corrosive and aggressive media, for sensitive flange materials (i.e. ceramic, glass, plastic) and for gas as well as steam applications.

Advantages

  • Universally applicable for gases & fluids
  • Excellent thermal conductivity
  • Chemically resistant against most media
  • Can be stored indefinitely
  • Extremely resistant to temperature cycles
  • Do not need anti-stick coating

Exceptional Heat and Chemical Resistance

Constructed using advanced silicone or EPDM, our tubes withstand continuous temperatures from -40C up to +250C, with short-term resistance reaching 300C. Their chemical resilience ensures safe usage in environments exposed to oils, acids, and alkalis, maintaining integrity under demanding conditions.

Superior Flexibility and Customization

With a minimum bend radius of 2-3x the tube diameter and customizable widths, thicknesses, and lengths, our rubber tubes adapt easily to diverse applications. You can select from smooth or corrugated finishes, textile or fiber reinforcement, and a range of diameters for specialized requirements.

Reliable Performance and Safety

These rubber tubes offer excellent electrical insulation, low water absorption (<1%), and durable construction. Certified flame resistance (UL94 V-0 on request) and exceptional resistance to ozone, UV, and weathering guarantee reliability and safety for prolonged use in demanding environments.

FAQs of Heat Resistant Rubber Tube:

Q: How is the heat resistant rubber tube typically used in various industries?

A: The heat resistant rubber tube is widely used in automotive, industrial, and laboratory settings for conveying hot fluids, transferring gases, or protecting electrical wiring, especially where high temperature and chemical resistance are critical.

Q: What materials are used to manufacture these tubes, and why are they chosen?

A: The tubes are made from heat-resistant synthetic rubbers like silicone, EPDM, or neoprene. These materials are chosen for their excellent tolerance to extreme temperatures, chemicals, ozone, and UV exposure, ensuring long-term durability and reliable performance.

Q: When should I choose a reinforced rubber tube versus a non-reinforced one?

A: A reinforced rubber tube, with optional textile or fiber layer, should be selected if your application requires higher pressure resistance (up to 10 bar) or extended durability under mechanical stress. For lower pressure or less rigorous conditions, a standard non-reinforced tube may suffice.

Q: Where can I install these rubber tubes for optimal performance and safety?

A: Install the tubes in well-ventilated, temperature-controlled environments, ideally away from direct flames and abrasive surfaces. They are suitable for under-the-hood automotive use, machinery in factories, and laboratory apparatus needing protection from heat and chemicals.

Q: What is the recommended process for storing the heat resistant rubber tube?

A: Store the tubes in a cool, dry, and dust-free environment, away from direct sunlight, corrosive substances, and extreme temperatures, to preserve their physical properties and ensure long service life.

Q: How does using this tube benefit my application compared to conventional rubber hoses?

A: This tube delivers superior resistance to heat, chemicals, and aging, offers flexibility with a tailored bend radius, and maintains its dielectric properties. Its long lifespan and minimal maintenance requirements make it an efficient, cost-effective choice for tough environments.

Q: What options are available in terms of size, length, and style?

A: Sizes are customizable with inner diameters ranging from 6 mm to 150 mm, thickness from 1 mm to 10 mm, and lengths from 1 to 10 meters. Both smooth and corrugated styles are available to fit specific installation needs.
